Name:

Fwukipap is a chosen name, meaning ‘to record information’ in his culture’s language. It literally means ‘open book, write, close book’. Chosen names are extremely common in Fwukipap’s culture, and are typically chosen in adulthood to reflect outstanding traits or feats. However, Fwukipap has no given name or family name, which is extremely unusual. Prior to his self-naming, he was simply designated a number index, ‘11’, by Brivigak. All of his siblings were also assigned numbers.

Some nicknames include Fwuki, Fwu, and Little Writer. He will accept nicknames usually, unless he's being directly insulted, or the nickname relates to being assigned a number, especially 11.

Species:

Fwukipap is a human with shapeshifting abilities. Later on in his story, he gains a piece of Mind, the goddess of knowledge, becoming a demigod. Fwukipap at time considers himself no longer human, but, until he becomes a demigod, this is not a distinction his culture would typically make. Even humans with strange abilities and forms remain human to most.

Creation and Family:

Fwukipap was created, not born. He was created in a lab by the mage Brivigak, as an experiment. Because of this, neither Brivigak nor Fwukipap consider each other family. Instead, Fwukipap considers his fellow experiments and Mind, he goddess of knowledge, as his family. His fellow experiments are effectively his siblings, while Mind becomes a mother figure to Fwukipap.
